Inspired by the studio's sci-fi film work, Territory Studio created this one-of-a-kind futuristic prop for the CommUNITY Exhibition + Auction at the 2019 San Francisco Design Week. I designed and modeled the form of the device.

Inspired by the studio's sci-fi film work, Territory Studio created this one-of-a-kind futuristic prop for the CommUNITY Exhibition + Auction at the 2019 San Francisco Design Week. I designed and modeled the form of the device.
Once the UI design was complete, I modeled the interlocking pieces that would enclose the screen. These were handed off to our 3D printing artist who then painted the device to simulate rugged metals and worn plastics to give the gadget more authenticity, much like the process used for films.
